Press Release

Blue Devil Productions will be screening Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End at the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 7 p.m. in Applied Arts 210, located in the art building on the UW-Stout campus.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is the third film of the series where Elizabeth, Will, and the crew of the Black Pearl sail off the edge of the map (literally) with the help of mysterious Tia Dalma and the late Captain Barbossa who has been raised from the dead to save Captain Jack Sparrow. He has been condemned to the terrible fate of remaining in the void of Davey Jones' locker for eternity. But rescuing Jack isn't the real meat of this movie - Lord Cutler Beckett has control of the heart of Davey Jones, and with that he controls the sea. The nine pirate lords of the world must unite for a final stand against Beckett, Jones, and the East India Trade company. The Chicago Tribune says this about the film: "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, the most visually spectacular, action-packed and surreal of the adventures of Capt. Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp)."

This event is sponsored by Blue Devil Productions of the University of Wisconsin-Stout and is FREE to all. Please call (715) 232-2432 or go to bdp.uwstout.edu for more information.
