7:00 pm | MSC Great Hall

The Ally Initiatives of UW-Stout are hosting hip hop artist, two-time National Poetry Slam champion and activist GUANTE for an interactive workshop, discussion and spoken word performance centered around the idea of "community climate," in every sense of the word-- environmental, social and cultural. The event is co-sponsored by UW-Stout's own Blue Devil Productions, Applied Science Learning Community, the LGBTQ Program Office, Stout Gender and Sexuality Alliance, and Greensense.

The event is free to attend and open to all ages. Both students and community members are encouraged to attend. The event will follow the Missouri Poverty Simulation (11am-4pm), and free refreshments will be provided.

Join GUANTE on Sunday October, 21st at 7pm in UW-Stout's Great Hall located in the newly renovated Memorial Student Center. How does environmental justice relate to campus climate issues? How can we work together to create a climate in which real change is possible? Let's build.
