8 pm | Great Hall / MSC

Blue Devil Productions is proud to present YelaWolf with St Paul Slim on Thursday, October 24th, 2013 in the Great Hall at 8pm. Doors open at 7pm. The Great Hall located on the upper level of the Memorial Student Center at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Geographically, he was born in a state that rests between Mississippi and Georgia, but mentally he was raised in a state of constant change. Alabama-native Wolf had been brought up bouncing around between Alabama and Tennessee as a child, exposing him to the impoverished realities of both White America's trailer parks and Black America's ghettos. His "Slumerican" mantra describes the harsh life he lived and the dream he represents. Once he was introduced to Beastie Boys and Run DMC, young Wolf knew that Hip Hop was in his DNA.

In a world polluted with monotonous nonsense, St Paul Slim is a breath of fresh air. He towers over the competition with his precise delivery and unprecedented wordplay; making him one of the most sought after mc's in the twin cities. In his music, St Paul Slim covers the whole spectrum, allowing him to appeal to all the masses of different hip hop listeners.

This event is sponsored by Blue Devil Productions of the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
