BlacKkKlansman

Friday, October 25th

6pm and 9pm | Applied Arts 210

Blue Devil Productions is proud to present the film “BlacKkKlansman” at the University of Wisconsin – Stout on Friday, October 26th at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in Applied Arts, room 210.

It’s the early 1970s, and Ron Stallworth is the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to make a name for himself, Stallworth bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. The young detective soon recruits a more seasoned colleague, Flip Zimmerman, into the undercover investigation of a lifetime. Together, they team up to take down the extremist hate group as the organization aims to sanitize its violent rhetoric to appeal to the mainstream. Produced by the team behind the Academy-Award® winning Get Out.

This event is sponsored by Blue Devil Productions of the University of Wisconsin-Stout and is FREE for everyone. Closed captioning will be available at the movie, so please let us know if you need this option. For more information, please call (715)-232-2432 or go to http://bdp.uwstout.edu.
